The Supply Chain Transformation session introduces the scope, purpose and intent of OEUK’s Offshore Energy Supply Chain Roadmap. Recognising changes occurring in the context of low carbon energy, the Roadmap intends to set the strategy and pathway for action in key areas aimed at setting up the UK supply chain for success. These include delivery against the Deal’s commitments, building new capacities and capabilities and ensuring the significant advancement of UK Content in all new energy projects.

In a career spanning over 25 years Sian has extensive business experience as a Senior Leader in both Energy and IT industries, having held several leadership roles in both blue chip and start-up Companies.

The domain knowledge and global focus gained in the Energy industry; coupled with the pace of evolving digital strategies and entrepreneurship encouraged in the IT industry, have contributed to a proven track record in developing new and profitable business opportunities.  She is UK Managing Director of Aker Offshore Wind and also supports the broader Aker Horizon companies in the UK, a global provider of sustainable solutions across the broad Energy sector.

Sian is Vice Co-Chair on the Board of Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) and the industry Supply Chain Champion supporting delivery of the North Sea Transition Deal, sits on the board of the Aberdeen Energy Transition Zone (ETZ) and is a member of the steerco for the Deepwind Cluster.

Katy Heidenreich is the Supply Chain & Operations Director at OEUK with responsibility for promoting industry’s competitiveness throughout the lifecycle of upstream operations, from exploration through to decommissioning, to encourage investment and ensure the UK can meet as much of its own energy needs as possible. Katy champions the world-class capabilities of the UK supply chain to maximise its opportunity to drive the technology and innovation required to deliver net zero targets.

Katy Heidenreich brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role, mainly from Schlumberger Oilfield Services where she worked in across a variety of technical, commercial and senior management roles in the UK, Norway and Azerbaijan.

John Pearson
COO

Petrofac

As Chief Operating Officer of the Group’s New Energy Services business John has overall accountability for growing Petrofac’s portfolio in the wind, hydrogen, CCUS and waste to value sectors globally.

Prior to assuming his current role, John led the Group’s Operations, Projects, Engineering and Consultancy Services, Well Engineering and Training Services capabilities internationally. He also held the position of Chief Corporate Development Officer, responsible for driving transformational activities in areas including Technology, Engineering and the Energy Transition.

John is Co-Chair of the NSTA (UK Regulator)’s Supply Chain & Exports Taskforce. Working to support the UK’s goals to Maximise Economic Recovery, and adopt a leading role in the Energy Transition, the taskforce is focused on doing all it can to enable industry to succeed through a series of targeted priority actions. John is also a board member of Offshore Energies UK.

Before joining Petrofac in 2017, John spent 28 years with AMEC Foster Wheeler and five years with Chevron, in the UK and the US. His previous roles have included President of global Oil, Gas and Chemicals business unit, and multi-market roles running the Americas, Northern Europe and CIS regions. He has worked in the Environmental, Infrastructure, Nuclear, Wind, Solar, Mining and Conventional Power sectors in addition to oil, gas and chemicals.

John holds a degree in Engineering from Aberdeen University. His interests include skiing, cycling, tennis, car restoration and running.


Liam Macintyre
Strategy Director – Energy Transition, UK & Global IRM

My goal is to support Europe realise our net zero ambitions. By collaborating with industry partners, we will solve big challenges in order to transform our energy system and implement low carbon integrated energy solutions.

Subsea 7 is a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the evolving energy industry. As Strategy Director – Energy Transition, UK and Global IRM, I am responsible to develop, drive and coordinate the various Energy Transition activities across the Subsea 7 business streams including Seaway 7, Xodus and 4Subsea.

A Mechanical Engineer by trade and an Alumni of London Business School, I offer business leadership with a solid grounding in engineering principles. I have held various roles across engineering, project management, business development and senior leadership positions.

Prior to my current appointment, I was Commercial Director of Subsea 7’s offshore rigid pipeline division where I held global responsibility for rigid pipeline strategy, early engagement engineering, tendering & supply chain.

I am a champion of cross industry collaborative contracting partnerships, creating value which would not be possible by each organisation operating as a separate entity. I am experienced in deploying Subsea 7’s 15 years of industry leading track record of working in successful collaborative contracting relationships and I hold the behavioural skills to make it a success.
