Steve Nicol joined Wood’s Executive Leadership Team in February 2023 as Executive President of the global Operations business unit. In his role, Steve leads a global team of more than 15,000 supporting the operations, decarbonisation and optimisation of client assets across three core regions - Asia Pacific; Europe, Middle East & Africa; and The Americas.

He is an accomplished leader with almost 30 years of professional experience including 20 years with Wood. Prior to his current role, Steve was Deputy Chief Financial Officer, responsible for driving financial performance, and before that served as Chief Financial Officer of Wood’s former Asset Solutions business across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Steve is a Fellow member of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants and a Board member of the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
