Ben heads up the Office for Clean Energy Jobs within DESNZ Net Zero Strategy Directorate, focused on ensuring that the UK has the skilled workforce needed to deliver the governments mission of making the UK a Clean Energy Superpower. Whilst also ensuring that jobs in clean energy sectors are ‘good jobs’ and accessible for all.

Ben is an experienced civil servant, having worked in a range of roles over the years including overseeing delivery of a number of DESNZ largest energy affordability schemes and other major grant interventions, supporting businesses through the pandemic, and EU exit.
